Oh How You
Still Come So
Often

You came to me in a dream again
Oh how you come so often
When I sense a change in the seasons
This time we were close and enough
No drinks and no drugs
No thoughts of guilt or shadowing lovers
Just you and me alone again
One last time
Your eyes
Your head on my shoulder
Your laugh on my neck
Your heavy breathe in my heart
Your gentle mouth gently starts
You remember my soft skin
And I have no will again
Words of attempted sacrifice
To salvage the remains
That wilt
Only to bloom in a cycle
Of endless taunting tornados
That have never let me settle in one place
Long enough
To really confess the truth
That I was waiting all along for you
To rip me from the world
I had created without you
And put me in the place
You will now call home with her
